About me:
Hi!
I am a sign language interpreter (BSL-English) from Scotland who has been involved in the deaf community since 2015. I graduated with a First Class MA in British Sign Language Interpreting, Translating and Applied Language Studies from Heriot-Watt University.

I am registered with The National Register of Communication Professionals working with Deaf and Deafblind People (NRCPD) and hold valid membership with the Association of Sign Language Interpreters (ASLI) and Scottish Collaborative of Sign Language Interpreters (SCOSLI). I am covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance. I also hold a valid PVG and enhanced DBS, all of which are available upon request.

As an interpreter, I believe that our goal is to facilitate communication effectively and to be advocates and educators. We are bound to a set of industry standards, Codes of Conduct and Codes of Ethics. Therefore, I am dedicated to providing assurance of professional standards to users of my services and to the public at large, whilst maintaining the integrity of the profession.
